A 400 year old coaching inn, this privately-run residence is located south of Leicester on the old A6, in the village of Great Glen.
The inn has charming guestrooms, a lounge and bar, serving traditional ales and lagers. From March 2008, the inn will also offer a games room and big-screen TV with Sky.
This peaceful location (the village is bypassed) is only 20 minutes away from Leicester city centre and 10 minutes from Market Harborough and Leicester Races.
The Old Greyhound Inn is a 17th century coaching inn with a bar, lounge, à la carte restaurant and 7 en suite rooms. The Inn is completely non-smoking throughout.

All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1. There is no capacity for cots in the room.
If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of GBP 25.00 will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

The inn’s kitchen is currently undergoing a full programme of refurbishment. Once this work is completed on 14 March 2008, a full cooked English breakfast will be available at an additional cost.

The Village of Great Glen is situated just off the main A6 Leicester to Market Harborough. A recent Bypass removed the traffic of the A6 passing through the Village and THe Old Greyhounds front door. We are now just 30 seconds away from the main A6 but a million miles away it seems from the hustle and bustle of traffic and problems.
